Post-Jam Update
Uploaded a small post-jam update addressing some of the concerns with the previously submitted build. I will not be adding any major features or revamps to this project as I'd like to preserve this to only be what was done during the game jam. This update is just to fix any game-breaking bugs and add a bit of polish that I would have been able to do during the 48-hours if I had given more of my time to the jam.
Fixes:
- Pause menu fixed in tutorial
- Held dice reset when starting new game
- Fixed issue with being able to pick up more than one die at a time (which caused an issue with banking and dropping)
- Fixed endless to be truly endless
- Added Q as another alternative key to select all dice (for users having browser-specific issue with Space/MidMouse)
- Added feature to zoom in/out using +/- (might be a bit buggy)
- Slightly tweaked dice physics/speed
- Slightly tweaked enemy/wave speed
As I said, I will preserve this page for the game jam build and will be creating a new page for further development on Dicey Towers. I will post the URL to the new page once available. Dicey Towers was built in Construct 2 as I find it very quick and easy for prototyping compared to other engines. However I plan to migrate what was built into Game Maker Studio 2 and continue development there where I feel I will have much more control over the project going forward.
Thanks to all who played, tested and provided feedback on Dicey Towers! I hope you continue to follow development on this game :)
